Regulatory Impact Analysis
The Regulatory Impact Analysis assesses the costs and benefits of specific regulations so as to provide information to the political decision-makers on the potential impact of such policies. The Administrative Relief Act stipulates that a Regulatory Impact Analysis has to be undertaken for all new and amended cantonal legislation if such legislation is likely to have an impact on businesses.

Each Regulatory Impact Analysis is undertaken according to the guidelines enacted by the Government Council.
